Onions to smuggle drugs - Prince sent to jail
Today in India onions are so expensive that they are worth smuggling in. But an ingenious prince who tried to walk through the green channel in London’s Heathrow airport with more than 3 kgs of pure cocaine concealed in – yes, onions was caught and convicted to spend 12 years in jail. But why onions? The Nigerian Prince thought that the pungent odour of onions will put off the Customs officers and for more effect he added foul smelling dry fish to his baggage. The bad smell did put off the Customs, but not their sniffer dog. The Prince has 149 siblings, one of whom will become king. He had been involved in anti-drug work in Nigeria and was a director of several companies.
