The anti dumping duty on sodium Cyanide
This notification has a very interesting history. The anti dumping duty was originally imposed by Notification No. 83/2000- which was superseded by notification No. 10/2001 which was amended by a host of notifications latest by Notification No. 56/2005 extending period of validity of the notification to 26th December, 2005 when it was originally valid till 2006. Now the Government has issued a fresh notification imposing the anti dumping duty.. Please see DDT of 31st December 2004, 3rd January, 2005 and 20th January, 2005.
The Government has also issued a separate notification imposing anti dumping duty on Sodium cyanide originating in or exported from Chinese Taipei.
