Import of metallic waste and scrap to be allowed through more ports

Import of metallic waste and scrap in unshredded, compressed, and loose form shall be allowed through only seventeen notified ports and some ICDs. The DGFT had vide Public Notice No. 15/2004, dated 9-10-2004 amended pare 2.32(1) to allow such unshredded scarp only through the major ports and ICD Thuglakabad. Now some more ports added.
