Commercial hatching eggs replaced with Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) eggs in SION
Entry no. E59 in Input Output Norms of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09 has been substituted with Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) eggs instead of commercial hatching eggs. The import will be permitted only from countries which are free from highly pathogenic avian influenza also known as fowl plague.
