Beedi Cess increased from Rs. 2/- to Rs. 4/-
Beedi Cess has been enhanced to rupees four per thousand of manufactured beedis, by way of cess for the purpose of the Beedi Workers Welfare fund Act, 1976. This was Rs.2/- hitherto. - S.O.316(E) F.No.S-24012/1/2005-W.II issued by Ministry of Labour and Employment.
