Chidambaram in defence of Khushboo

Film actress Khushboo facing a storm of Tamilian wrath for her remarks on pre-marital sex by women has found an unexpected supporter - Finance Minister Chidambaram. "There is no need for one to react to another's views. I am not to going to comment on it. But, in India one has got the right to speech and freedom to express views. Attempts to curtail or take away these cannot be accepted" , Chidambaram is reported to have told reporters. Board officials trying to curtail the expression of opinions by the staff should learn from the Finance Minister.
