Export of meat and edible meat offal - DGFT extends effective date of Notification
Vide Notification No. 12/2004-09 dated 21-12-2004 the DGFT had amended the ITC (HS) Classification to restrict the export of meat and meat products to items obtained/sourced from abattoir/meat processing plant registered with APEDA. Vide Notification No. 24/2004-09 dated 21-02-2005 these provisions were to come in to effect from 1st June, 2005. Now it is extended till 1st October, 2005.
