Exemption to certain goods – Imported from Bangladesh, Peoples Republic of China, Republic of Korea and Sri Lanka

The government has exempted a large variety of goods imported from these countries in accordance with the Customs Tariff (determination of origin of goods under the Bangkok) Rules 1976. The exemption is a percentage of the applied rate of duty. Applied rate is the Tariff rate read with any exemption notifications except three notifications namely 236/89-Cus, 105/99-Cus, and 26/2000-Cus as all these notifications already give similar exemptions.
