Tariff concessions enhanced for imports from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal
GOVERNMENT has amended Notification No., dated October 6, 2008 to enhance tariff concessions for imports from Bangladesh , Bhutan , Maldives and Nepal , into India . Hitherto, wherever the tariff concession (i.e. percentage of applied rate of duty) is 50%, it is now enhanced to 75% and wherever it is 75%, it is enhanced to 100% (full exemption).
