Cotton yarn – Section 11C notification

The Government has issued a Section 11C notification to exempt cotton yarn removed from one factory to another for the purpose of further processing from excise duty for the period from 1st July, 2001 to 24th March, 2003 as it was a practice at that time not to collect that duty.
