Export of cement and steel products facilitated
With signals that the inflation is heading southward, the DGFT has decided to withdraw restrictions on export of cement and steel products. They will be eligible for benefits under Focus Market Scheme as well. Wonder who will come to the aid of construction sector which is terribly hit with people refusing to buy new flats due to credit crunch and thousands of vacant flats gathering dust.
