Amendment to Import licensing note for import of marbles

In terms of NOTIFICATION No. 17 (RE-2007)/2004-09 Dated: July 26, 2007, the import licensing note 2 for Chapter 25 in ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09 w as amended to read as under:

“Import of marble will be subject to the conditions laid down in Policy Circular No. 01 (RE-07)/2004-2009 dated 26.07. 2007.”

Now by virtue of an amendment, this licensing condition is further amended to read as follows:

“Import of marble will be subject to the conditions laid down in Policy Circular No.12 (RE-08)/2004-2009 date 27.06.2008, Policy Circular No.13 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 30.6.2008, Policy Circular No.20(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 16.07.2008, Policy Circular No.25 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 08.08.2008 and Policy Circular No. 28 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 20.08.2008”.
