Fake Indian Currency – prohibited!!!
Under Section 135 of the Customs Act, any offence relating to prohibited goods as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify, is liable for a sentence up to seven years.
Now the Government has notified Fake Indian Currency as the goods falling in the category of prohibited goods for the purposes of the section.
