Sugar export DGFT allots 10,000 MTs
DGFT has allocated 10,000 MTs of white Sugar for export to EU for the year 2008-09 (July, 2008 to June, 2009).
This refers to HS Code No.1701 00 00 in the Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import items, 2004-09 under which M/s Indian Sugar Exim Corporation Ltd., New Delhi is the designated agency for export of sugar to EU under preferential quota. As regards Special Certification requirement, entries to be made in document EUR and GSP are as follows:-
“Application of Regulation (EC) No.950 /2006, ACP /India Sugar, Serial No.09.4337 .”
And also allocates additional quantity of 4124 (Four Thousand one hundred and twenty four) MTs of Raw Sugar for export to EU for the year 2007-08 (October, 2007 -September, 2008).
