Double Tax Avoidance Agreement with Kuwait effective 1.4.2008
Agreement between the government of the republic of India and the government of the state of Kuwait for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, is to come into force from 1.4.2008 which will apply to persons who are residents of one or both the Countries for income tax, including any surcharge thereon in India and for Kuwait, the corporate income tax; the contribution from the net profits of the Kuwaiti shareholding companies payable to the Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Science (KFAS); the Zakat; the tax subjected according to the Supporting of National Employees law.
