Service Tax payment - one day grace for e-payment

Yesterday we reported that excise duty payment through internet banking will get one day grace period. The same applies to Service Tax also. The Service Tax Rules have been amended to provide that those who opt for e-payment can pay the tax by the 6^th of the following month instead of the 5 ^th.
