Anti Dumping Duty on Acetone

In the matter of import of Acetone falling under tariff item 2914 11 00 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, originating in, or exported from, European Union, Chinese Taipei, Singapore, South Africa and the United States of America, the designated authority has come to the conclusion that-

(a) the subject goods have been exported to India from the subject countries below its normal value;

(b) the domestic industry has suffered material injury;

(c) the injury has been caused by the dumped imports from subject countries

Now the Government has imposed Anti Dumping Duty on the goods. The anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall be effective up to and inclusive of the 18th December 2007 and shall be payable in Indian currency.
