Drawback on HSD to EOUs – DGFT expands scope

As per PN. No. 65/2006 dated 20.10.2006, the All Industry Rate of Drawback of Rs. 1050/- per MT is allowed for both HSD and Furnace Oil, supplied by Domestic Oil Companies toEOU Units under various Schemes as contained in Chapters 4, 6 and 8 of the Foreign Trade Policy.

Now the PN is amended to delete the words “to EOU Units” and retrospectively with effect from 20.10.2006.

So now supplies to units other than EOus covered under the other export promotion schemes will also get the drawback.
