Sale in DTA against foreign exchange – eligible for NFE
DGFT has amended the Foreign Trade policy to include Supplies effected in DTA against foreign exchange remittance received from overseas in the list of eligible items for calculation of Net Foreign Exchange. This provision has been added in para 6.9(b) of the policy. This was there in the policy announced in 2004 and 2005, but surprisingly was deleted in 2006. And it is brought back now.
