Export of Services – foreign exchange mandatory
The Export of Services Rules, 2005 is amended to re organise certain services within the definitions and to stipulate that services will be treated as export only if
(a) the service is delivered outside India and used outside India; and
(b) Payment for the service provided outside India is received by the service provider in convertible foreign exchange.
