Appointment of Adjudicators - Board powers to DRI
AS per Notification No. 60/2015-Cus NT dated 04 06 2015, the Principal Director General, DRI, is empowered to appoint officers of the rank of Commissioner of Customs or Additional Director General of the said Directorate for the purpose of adjudication of cases investigated by that Directorate.
Now, the Principal Director General, is changed to "Principal Director General or the Director General, and
Commissioner of Customs is changed to Principal Commissioner or Commissioner or Additional Commissioner or Joint Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner of Customs.
