Computer Glitch Wreaks Havoc at US Airports
US Customs computer system in all major airports in USA crashed and passengers were stranded for about 90 minutes yesterday evening. Twitter was full of messages from frustrated travellers. Somebody tweeted, "#Jfk customs computer system down. They don't know when it'll be fixed. Typical. #welcometousa".
The US ‘Customs and Border Protection' also tweeted, "CBP processing systems are back online after a brief outage that lasted about 90 minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience."
