Tariff Value of Gold and Silver Decreased
THE Government has decreased the Tariff value of Gold from 391 USD to 378 USD per 10 gms. The tariff value of Silver is also reduced from 551 USD to 517 USD per kilogram. These will have to be again hiked as gold prices have shot up again. Tariff value of Brass scrap has also been decreased while those of oils have been increased. However, the Tariff values of Poppy and Areca Nuts remain unchanged. The Tariff values as on 31.10.2014 and with effect from 14.11.2014 are as under:
