FTP - Amendment in Chapter 3 of Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14

THE Government has amended Para 3.17.11 of FTP 2009-14 to stipulate that SHIS, SFIS and AIIS scrips cannot be used for payment of Custom duty for shortfall in EO in Advance Authorisation or DFIA (i.e. default in EO for authorisation issued under Chapter 4 of Foreign Trade Policy).

SHIS = Status Holder Incentive Scheme

SFIS = Served From India Scheme

AIIS = Agri-Infrastructure Incentive Scrip

EO = Export Obligation

DFIA = Duty Free import Authorisation
