CVC Wants a COMMISSIONER
THE DOPT has called for suggestions of names of suitable persons for appointment as Vigilance Commissioner in the Central Vigilance Commission. Secretary Level officers of the Government of India and CMDs of PSUs are eligible. The Vigilance Commissioner is selected by a Committee consisting of the Prime Minister, the Home Minister and the Leader of Opposition in the LokSabha. They need the recommendations latest by 15 November 2013.
