Former DRI ADG Seeks Compensation
IT is learnt that the former ADG, DRI Chennai who was arrested on corruption charges by CBI, now on bail has filed a writ in the Madras High Court claiming that the case had been foisted on him to stop him from investigating duty evasion of Crores of rupees and he was told to withdraw certain notices. He has sought a compensation of Rs. 50 lakhs and stay of proceedings against him.
