Austerity - Don't Host Foreign Delegates without Approval

THE Department of Expenditure has decided that Ministries/Departments holding international conferences/seminars should not make any commitment for bearing the travel/accommodation cost of participants without the prior approval of the Expenditure Secretary/Cabinet Secretary, irrespective of the expenditure to be incurred on the seminar/conference.
