Tuticorin included as a port for import and export under various schemes
Government has amended 17 notifications to include Titicorin as a port eligible for export and import under various schemes like, Vishesh Krishi Upaj Yojana, Export Promotion Capital Goods Scheme (EPCG), Duty Entitlement Pass Book (DEPB), Advance licence for annual requirement with actual user condition issued to Star Export Houses, Advance licence,— Exemption to imports under Served from India Scheme Certificate, Advance licence for deemed export, Duty Free Replenishment Certificate (DFRC) etc,.
