Quashing of Appointment of ITAT VP - Supreme Court Stays
THE Madras High Court had in quashed the appointment of a vice-President of the ITAT. On an SLP filed by three Members of the ITAT, the Supreme Court on Friday stayed the direction of the High Court. The Supreme Court order dated 30.03.2012 in Petition(s) for Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) No(s).6141/2012, reads as:
Put up for final disposal on October 03, 2012. During the pendency of the special leave petition, the direction of the High Court in paragraph 24 of the impugned judgment shall remain stayed.
