Prohibition on Import of Filter Rod - Government Amends Notification

AS per Notification No. 16/2011-Cus (N. T.), dated, the 1st March 2011, import of Filter Rod is prohibited except when imported for use in the manufacture of Filter Cigarettes. Now, the notification is amended to add bidis or Pharmaceutical products of Chapter 30 to cigarettes.
