Service Tax - Last Date to File Return - Again Extended
CBEC has extended the last date for filing the half yearly return for the period April 2011 to September 2011, from 6th January 2012 to 20th January 2012.
Why?
Board explains,
"This is being done in view of the fact that assessees are facing problems in electronic filing of returns due to various reasons."
This was the same reason for which it was extended earlier. Apparently, the problems are not solved. Will they solve them in the next ten days?
