Same Monetary Limit for Adjudication for Ad.C and JC
BOARD has decided to prescribe the same monetary limit for adjudication of Central Excise cases for both Additional Commissioners and Joint Commissioners. Accordingly, now both Additional Commissioners and Joint Commissioners can adjudicate cases involving duty above Rs. 5 Lakhs and up to Rs. 50 Lakhs.
