Enhanced Exemption to Imports from SAFTA Countries
NOTIFICATION No. 107/2008 - Cus dated 06.10.2008, allows a 100 percent exemption on certain items and 75 percent exemption on certain items, on the applied rate of Customs Duty. ‘Applied Rate' is the standard rate read with any applicable notification. Now the 75 percent exemption is enhanced to 100 percent.
This exemption is applicable for imports from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal.
