Scheme for Export of Jewellery - value addition

DGFT has revised value addition norms for export of jewellery. For ornaments of gold containing black beads, precious stones etc, the minimum value addition per consignment is 7%. However if the if the per gram value of the precious stones, semi-precious stones, studdings utilized in the making of jewellery/articles is more than the per gram value of gold/silver/platinum, the value addition of 15% shall be achieved.
