FTP – Sanctions Imposed on Iran
FOREIGN Trade policy is amended to prohibit Direct or indirect export and import of all items, materials, equipment, goods and technology which could contribute to Iran's enrichment related, reprocessing or heavy water related activities, or to development of nuclear weapon delivery systems, whether or not originating in Iran, to/from Iran. This notification is issued to amend Para 2.1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy in order to harmonise provisions of the Policy with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 1929 by which additional sanctions have been imposed on Iran related to its nuclear and missile development programme.
