Board is not broad enough to face criticism especially from staff
Our kings of yore used to reward the messenger who brought good news like the birth of a son and the converse was always true, that is the one who brought bad news like that the king was not popular was immediately put to death. Our CBEC also seems to be behaving like those feudal lords, never capable of facing criticism. The Board has written to Chief Commissioners to ask them to stop departmental officers from writing and especially writing against Board’s action or inaction. Please see our editorial.
