One Year jail for obstructing Central Excise Raid

TIMES of India reported that a Consumer Activist who interfered in a raid conducted by the Central Excise Department 18 years ago was recently sentenced to a year`s rigorous imprisonment. Preventing a public servant from performing his duty can have serious repercussions.
