Patriotic Corruption – In favour of Indians against Foreigners – Anti Dumping Director in CBI Custody
IT seems corruption in the Anti Dumping Directorate has a patriotic overturn. The beneficiaries are always Indians and the victims foreigners. In the interest of Indian Companies, the officers are induced to impose anti dumping duty and their patriotic zeal, supported ably by a little consideration, make them pliable. The CBI has arrested a Director, Anti Dumping in the Commerce Ministry in three cases, two of them dealing with anti dumping related corruption while the third one was an extra curricular initiative where the Director tried to use his influence with the Coal Ministry to get some undue favour!.
