CBI yet to get nod to prosecute 129 Customs Officers
CBI had requested various Government Departments and Agencies for sanction to prosecute several officers. About 380 requests from CBI are pending with these Departments, of which 129 are from the Customs and Excise Department. Interestingly 4 requests from the CBI to prosecute its own officers are also pending!
