What happened to NTT?
DO you know what happened to the National Tax Tribunal Act? Everybody thinks it is dead, but no, there is a case pending in the Supreme Court. In fact the petitioners have challenged the very validity of Article 323B of the Constitution under which Tribunals are created. This case was linked with the challenge to the ‘National Company Law appellate Tribunal Act'. But when the case was heard, it was noticed that the two cases are different and cannot be tagged together. So NTT is delinked from NCLAT and will now have to be heard afresh.
