Income Tax – Exemption - National Housing Bank (Tax Saving) Term Deposit Scheme, 2008 notified under Section 80C

The Government has specified the National Housing Bank (Tax Saving) Term Deposit Scheme, 2008 for exemption under Section 80C (2)(xv) 0f the Income Tax Act. As is well known, payments or deposits made for the schemes mentioned under Section 80C (2) are deducted from the total income.
