Import of Milk from China - Prohibition extended for six months
Government has extended the validity of prohibition on import of milk and milk products under Chapter 4 of ITC(HS) from China vide Notification No.46/(RE 2008)/2004-2009 dated 24th September, 2008 by another six months from 24.12.2008 up to 23.6.2009.
Government has also decided that the import of chocolates and chocolate products and candies/confectionary/food preparations with milk or milk solids as an ingredient shall be prohibited from China for six months with immediate effect and until further orders.
